Privacy notice

Coil & Ground collects the information you choose to send through the contact form: your name, email address, enquiry type, message and an optional page address. We use it only to respond to the enquiry, consider corrections and maintain the publication.

How enquiries are handled

Form submissions are stored in an access-controlled Cloudflare database using an EU jurisdiction setting. A copy is also sent to our destination inbox so we can respond; direct emails are delivered to that inbox too. Our email provider may process and retain those messages under its own security and retention controls. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical information to check for automated submissions. We do not sell contact details or use enquiry data for marketing. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to deal with the message, meet legal obligations and maintain a record of material corrections.

Site analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page visits, referring sites, device types and how quickly pages load. It uses a small browser beacon but no analytics cookies. Cloudflare says the beacon does not log URL query strings or track individual visitors across websites. Our build preview and live domain have separate analytics records, so pre-launch visits are not mixed with public-site reporting. We use the results to improve the site, not to build individual profiles.

Your choices

You may ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your enquiry information, subject to any legal reason it must be retained. Email [email protected] or use the contact form and choose “Something else”. This notice will be reviewed before the public launch and whenever the site’s services change.
